Since their inception a few years ago, Electro-Muse has been growing steadily in the SA Music Scene with their fresh musical style and image. The all-girl electric strings perform original music as well as some recognisable numbers reworked in distinctive Electro-Muse style and are available as a quartet (2 violins, viola and cello or dbl bass) a trio (violin, viola and cello) as well as for solo instrument sets. In addition to their corporate set with backing tracks, the band also offers a corporate set with vocals. The music is a fusion of strings and beats covering many styles from chilled Lounge, Latin and Jazz to more upbeat Dance tracks.

Electro-Muse has performed at many high profile events, parties and fashion shows. (See list of past gigs). They have worked for top companies such as ABSA, Investec, Ford, Audi, BMW, Schwartzkopf, and Vodacom to name but a few and have performed countrywide as well as internationally travelling to Edinburgh, the Seychelles, Mauritius, Zambia, Namibia as well as performing on a cruise of the Baltic Sea for Coca Cola.

The band has collaborated with Prime Circle, the Parlotones, Danny K, Fuzigish, Wonderboom, Arno Carstens and New Porn, Karen Zoid, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Soweto String Quartet, Louise Carver, Farrell and Fokofpolisiekar and recorded with many of these artists. They also recorded on the Levi’s CD4 Aids awareness album.

They have been interviewed and featured on a variety of TV programs including Top Billing, Gons, Noted, Morning Edition, Glitterati, Dis Hoe Dit Is Met Steve, Miss SA and Miss Teen, Women of the Year Awards, Positive Rocks and have received extensive press and media exposure including a Front page feature in the Star Tonight.
