BOOKING INFORMATION

If you would like to enquire about booking any of our artists, please contact us by email, phone or fax, or by filling out our inline booking enquiry form. We will do our best to get back to you with a quote and/or news on availability of the artist(s) within 24 working hours. When enquiring, please supply us with as much information as possible about your event. We can probably assist you better if we know:
* What type of event you are planning
* Event theme
* Size and type of audience
* Will music be light background, dance, or a featured show
* Are you using an AV company to provide sound (and stage & lighting,etc.), or would you prefer musicians to supply the equipment
* Timing - you will need to decide on an exact time for the booking to start and finish, and will be charged accordingly. An exact booking time is agreed on contractually, and if musicians are requested to perform outside of booking time, overtime fees are charged.

When budgeting for live music, please keep in mind the following points:
* Most Classical and some Jazz and ethnic groups charged on an hourly basis. A one hour booking is generally more expensive pro rata, to compensate for travel time, etc. Overtime fees are charged per half hour or hour (depending on the Artist), if the client requests the musicians to perform after the conclusion of the agreed booking time.
* Most function and cover bands charge "per evening" which consists of a 4 hour booking (4 x 45 minute sets with 15 minute breaks in between), with a pro rata overtime fee charged for bookings of longer than 4 hours.
* Most celebrity and show bands would be able to perform between 30 and 100 minutes, depending on the Artist.
* The client is expected to provide the musicians with beverages, and meals in the case of bookings of 3 hours or longer, or where more than 60 minutes' travel time is involved.

Fees generally exclude:
* Travel expenses for venues not within a 60km radius of the Cape Town , Johannesburg or Durban CBDs. For venues more than 2 hours outside the Centre, a different fee structure generally applies. In certain cases (far out venues and/or bookings that conclude late at night), the client will also be responsible for the cost of accommodation for the musicians.
* Commission for PCO's (professional conference organizers)
* Rehearsals or special performances requested by the client
* Early arrival / set up time (more than 30 mins before start of booking) requested by client
* Stage, lighting and sound equipment and engineer if required
