DJ OLIVER

Oliver Sutton has been Dj'ing for 10 years, starting in alternative clubs around Cape Town in 1994 playing punk, new wave, ska and the like. During the period 1996 to 1999 Oliver moved to Dublin, Ireland, to study music technology (sound engineering). Here he was resident Dj at XFM 101.7FM with national broadcast and internet live coverage. Oliver indulged in Freestyle, Breaks, Ambient, World, Jazz, Funk, Hip-Hop and Drum n Bass. When he returned to Cape Town in '99 he took up DJ post with Badresh Kara on Fine Music Radio playing strictly World Music on Thursday evenings which involved a lot of research on the music he was playing.
