Them Particles is a five-piece band which plays a mixture of country, gypsy, blues and rock music. The band only formed early this year (2008) but members have played in other well-known bands like Benny B Funk, Nude Red, Saucetone and Live Jimi Presley since the 1980s.

The outstanding features of this band are original songs, written by band leader Dax Butler, which display deep musicality and thought-provoking, yet catchy lyrics. There are one or two Elvis covers, which have been strongly interpreted. This band has garnered strong support in a very short time, mainly because the audience can really let go and dance to our tunes. Country music has deep roots and this is what Them Particles are tapping into. There is a definite Irish influence!

If you want your party, pub or function to rock, the band has plenty of spirit and have a relaxed, mature delivery. Its good, clean fun, with ballads, waltzes and polkas in between the up-tempo skiffles and backbeats.
